Verrutop is a new type of wart treatment. Unlike Cryotherapy or other chemical treatments, Verrutop does not act by freezing or burning the tissue. Instead it denatures the viral protein and desiccates the wart tissue, which then falls off the skin, leaving intact skin underneath.

What is Silver Nitrate?

Silver nitrate is  an older but effective method used to treat verrucae and warts as it is toxic to living cells and for this purpose of killing cells, including viruses and bacteria. 

• It works by chemically cauterising the skin, which means it destroys any unwanted tissue. This process kills warts and verrucas turning the dead skin black that can then be removed.
• Applied topically, it is easily controlled, economical and usually painless.
